DUCK PARTY IDEAS

Quack! Quack! Throwing a duck-themed shower or party? We've collected a flock of party ideas to make your celebration one-of-a-kind! The following "Duck Party Ideas" and images are suggestions only.

Ducky Pond Jell-O®:
Perfect for Ducky Pond Jell-O at a shower or birthday party. Simply fill a punch bowl with a bright blue Jell-O® and add clean Rubber Ducky Squirts. They'll sit on top of the Jell-O®, creating an adorable "Duck Pond" affect that your guests will love!"

Yellow Ducky Drink:
Simply mix up a batch of yellow lemonade and serve. Add a label to the lemonade pitcher that says "Yellow Ducky Drink". You may also use Lemon Lime Gatorade for a brighter yellow color.

Duck Food:
You'll need small buckets or pails, nuts or trail mix, and labels. Fill the buckets with nuts (or any type of edible mix or snack) and add a label to each bucket that reads, "Duck Food". Place on each table or next to each guest's table setting.

Quackers:
Any type of crackers will do (animal crackers, cheese and crackers, etc.). Place the crackers on a serving tray. Display a tent card next to the serving tray that reads, "Quackers".

Duck Sandwich:
All you need are sandwich ingredients and a duck cookie cutter. First, make a sandwich, then use a duck-shaped cookie cutter and press down in the middle of the sandwich to cut out a "duck sandwich". Some sandwiches are easier to keep in the duck shape than others. If the sandwich keeps falling apart, put a toothpick or party pick in the sandwich to hold it together. Also, make sure the bread you use is soft enough to cut with the cookie cutter.

Duck Ice Cream:
Simple and delicious, create yellow duckies out of ice cream for your guests! You'll need ice cream (yellow ice cream such as banana or lemon works best), cup cake liners, chocolate chips, and almond slivers. Place a large scoop of ice cream into a cupcake liner. Put a smaller scoop of ice cream on top of the large scoop. Position two chocolate chips in the smaller scoop to resemble eyes. Beneath the chocolate chips, arrange two almond slivers into a beak (place one sliver on top of the other). Place the ice cream ducks on a tray and freeze until you are ready to serve them. When serving, place on small plates in case the ice cream melts. Check out our Baby Shower Ice Cream Scoop for Ducky Ice Cream!

Decorating Ideas:

**Fill a bucket, tub, or cooler with drinks and cover with ice. Place Rubber Ducky Squirts on top of the ice and drinks for a fun look!

**Surprise and amuse your guests by adding Ducky Tissues to your powder room. Everyone will comment on it!

**Add a Ducky Centerpiece/Piñata to your party and watch the fun begin! This is perfect to place in the middle of each table, on the gift table, or hang from the ceiling! What a jubilant decoration! Children and adults alike will love to break open the piñata as well. No boring parties here!
